About TFS

The Trenton Film Society was started by a group of Trenton residents in 2003 as a way to bring filmmakers and area residents together to better appreciate the art of film making. Now in its 7th season, the film society has expanded its programming to include the Not Quite Legal Film Festival, with entries from young New Jersey filmmakers between the ages of 15 and 21 and the Foreign Film Festival, which showcases cutting-edge independent films from all over the world. We also sponsor a curated Wednesday night film series and a new program that pairs carefully chosen films with performing arts events by noted Trenton arts organizations to enhance the community’s experience of the arts.
